New Programs & Increased Investment
Fair Chance is thrilled to report that through partnership and increased investment, we will be able to work with more nonprofits serving children, youth, and families experiencing poverty in our region:

New Programs, More Nonprofits. We are increasing the number of nonprofits we serve. Through our partnership with Venture Philanthropy Partners, we are growing and adding more nonprofits in Prince George’s County, MD. Additionally, we will serve up to 8 nonprofits through a contract with the DC Deputy Mayor for Education’s Learn24 office. This is in addition to our cohort of nonprofits in DC.
Increased investment in our work. We want to acknowledge that this year, many friends and funders have stepped up their investments in Fair Chance and that is fueling growth and excitement. In particular, we would like to acknowledge the A. James & Alice B. Clark Foundation, John Edward Fowler Memorial Foundation, JPMorgan Chase, and the Cafritz Foundation for increasing their investment in special projects in 2019.
We are so grateful to our partners and foundation supporters for their partnership in our work strengthening the sustainability and performance of community-based nonprofits to achieve life-changing results for children, youth, and families experiencing poverty.
