Chief Advancement Officer

The Chief Advancement Officer (CAO) is responsible for Fair Chance’s strategy for developing, growing, and acquiring the resources necessary to deliver on our critical mission. An important part of this role is building brand awareness and proactive external communications efforts on behalf of the organization.

The successful candidate will help forge new relationships to advance Fair Chance’s visibility, impact, and financial resources leveraging board members in the process. The CAO will also expand and diversify Fair Chance’s donor base/pipeline and work closely with other team members to secure funding for new initiatives including geographic expansion. In addition, this position will engage in leveraging various communication channels and building relationships with key policy makers and community leaders around issues related to the nonprofit sector, challenges for small nonprofits, and the Fair Chance solution.

Salary Range: $110,000 – $120,000

Director of Development

Reporting to the Chief Advancement Officer and serving as a critical member of the Advancement team, the Director of Development: manages of three development staff; works with the CAO and CEO to develop a fundraising vision and priorities; creates and implements a donor cultivation and stewardship plan; oversees the process of securing grants from foundation, corporate, and government sources; manages and engages a portfolio of top-level donors, oversees special events, and engages in relationships with development professionals in the Fair Chance network.

Salary Range: $90,000 – $100,000
