Fair Chance Taps Jeff Franco for Interim Co-CEO Position
Jeff is joining Fair Chance as interim Co-CEO, effective September 1, 2025, with more than 25 years of experience leading and managing large-scale nonprofits, providing strategic consulting, and guiding organizations through pivotal transitions.
 
Jeffrey’s relationship with Fair Chance spans over five years. He served as senior fundraising advisor from 2019 to 2021, successfully launching individual giving programs that expanded the organization’s donor base. As Butterfly Bash Co-Chair in 2023, he led a fundraising campaign that raised over $400,000. Most recently, he hosted intimate donor cultivation events to deepen connections between supporters and Fair Chance’s mission.
 
As Fair Chance’s interim Co-CEO, Jeffrey brings specialized expertise in organizational transitions, having served as interim Executive Director for multiple nonprofits including City Year Miami, One Common Unity, and Youth Speaks. He previously led City Year Washington, DC for over 12 years, growing the organization from $2.3 million to $8.6 million. A graduate of Fairfield University with advanced degrees from American University, Jeffrey founded Camino Consulting Group and co-leads the Transformation Leadership Institute, working with nonprofit CEOs nationwide on strategic planning and organizational development.
Jeffrey is deeply respected for his collaborative approach and commitment to organizational excellence. The board values his proven track record in nonprofit transitions and his ability to maintain momentum during periods of change. Staff appreciate his strategic insight and dedication to strengthening Fair Chance’s capacity to serve the nonprofit community.
