As early voting begins and Election Day approaches, Fair Chance joins fellow nonprofit capacity building organizations in the Charge Up Collaborative action to make Election Day a paid day off for employees. This day of action will give employees the ability to vote and engage in civic actions without worrying about their work responsibilities. This action is also done in recognition of the millions of Americans who do not a paid day off for Election Day and the systematic disenfranchisement of Black and Latino communities.
