Cohort 3 In Prince George’s County Begins
Fair Chance is proud to introduce you to the nonprofits in Cohort 3 of the Ready for Work Nonprofit Capacity Building Initiative. This initiative is a collaboration with Venture Philanthropy Partners (VPP) to strengthen select nonprofits in Prince George’s County, Maryland as part of Ready for Work’s larger goal of ensuring high school students are college and career ready. We are now serving a total of eleven nonprofits in the county. Learn more about the missions our newest cohort below:

Ivy Community Charities
Ivy Community Charities seeks to empower youth and strengthen families by providing programs and services that address the educational, cultural, health, economic and social needs of Prince George’s County’s low to moderate income residents.

Liberty’s Promise
Liberty’s Promise supports low-income immigrant youth ages 15-21 by providing them with means to become actively involved in civic life, pursue higher education, and embark upon meaningful careers.

Side by Side
Side by Side engages, equips and encourages parents of elementary school students to partner with schools to promote their children’s success in the classroom.

WeTATi
WETATi educates, trains and empowers low to moderate income K-12 and collegiate students to build entrepreneurial skills to prepare for the 21st century workforce.
