2024 Fair Chance Roundtable

We are thrilled to extend a warm invitation to all of you for the upcoming 2024 Fair Chance Roundtable. This special event, hosted and sponsored by Accenture, will take place on Monday, May 20th, from 5pm to 8pm at The Bank Building, located at 699 14th St. NW, Washington, DC. We look forward to bringing together the entire Fair Chance community for an evening of connection, updates, and insightful discussions.

The Fair Chance Roundtable is a unique opportunity for us to gather and engage in meaningful conversations about the pressing issues facing children, youth, and families across our region. As an organization dedicated to creating opportunities for children in under-resourced communities, we believe that open dialogue and collaboration are essential to driving positive change.

During the event, you’ll have the chance to connect with Fair Chance Board and Advisory Board members, funders, as well as our incredible nonprofit partners. These small group discussions will provide a platform for sharing experiences, challenges, and perspectives on how we can work together to build a more thriving community for all.

In addition to the engaging conversations, the Fair Chance Roundtable will also feature updates on Fair Chance’s initiatives and the impact we’ve made together. We’ll celebrate the successes of our nonprofit partners and discuss how we can continue to support their vital work in the community. Fair Chance alumni partner Lecester Johnson, CEO of Academy of Hope, will share her Partnership experience and the importance of supporting the capacity of communities to address inequities. Our distinguished keynote speaker Professor Anthony E. Cook, JD of Georgetown Law will share insights on acknowledging historical inequities, centering marginalized voices, and addressing root causes.

We strongly encourage all members of the Fair Chance community to attend this free event. Whether you’re a longtime supporter or new to our organization, your presence and participation will contribute to the richness of the conversations and the overall success of the Roundtable.

We can’t wait to see you on Monday, May 20th, at The Bank Building for an evening of meaningful discussions, updates, and community building. Together, we can create a brighter future for children, youth, and families in our region.
